Self-service Book Borrowing and Returning
RFID self-service book borrowing & returning services typicallyinvolve book borrowing, returning, and renewal.
Book Borrowing
1.Identity Verification
Please tap the “Borrow” button on the screen, and swipe your campus card（orvia facial recognition）for identity verification.
2.Book Identification
Lay the books you want to borrow flat on the marked sensor pad, with thespine side down for the system to read them.
3.Confirm YourSelection
The system automatically reads book information and displays the borrowing list,including title, author, due date, etc. Please review the listcarefully and confirm your selection to complete your book borrowing.
Book Returning
1.Identify Verification
Please tap the “Return” button on the screen, and swipe your campus card（or via facial recognition）for identity verification.
2.Book Identification
Lay the books you want to return flat on the marked sensor pad, with the spine side down for the system to read.
3.Confirm Your Returning List
You can return several books at once – the system will show your returning list automatically. Please review the list carefully to complete your bookreturning. Then put the returned books in the adjacent book bin.
Book Renewal
1.Identify Verification
Please tap the “Renewal” button on the screen, and swipe your campus card (or via facial recognition）for identity verification.
2.Select Books to Renew
The screen displays a list of books available for renewal. Check the boxes next to the book titles you wish to renew, and click the'Renew' button.Please confirm the new due date after renewal.
