Our library implements an integrated management system that combines collection, borrowing, and reading services. The specific borrowing guidelines are as follows:
1. Readers are required to use their library cards (campus all-in-one cards) to borrow books.
2. Library cards are for personal use only and must not be lent to others.
3. Borrowing Limits and Durations:

For students: 30 books

For teachers: 2 months
For students: 1 month
4. Renewal Rules:
Readers are allowed one renewal on each borrowing.

5. Fine Rules:
Overdue fines are charged at a rate of 0.05 yuan per book per day.
Readers who damage books will be fined between 10% and 50% of the book's price, depending on the severity of the damage.
If fines are incurred, please pay them at the service desk.
6. Rules for Compensation for Lost Books
If a book is lost, the reader can choose to either compensate with replacement book or pay a monetary fine. Compensating with a replacement book is preferred (Requirements: Please purchase an authentic copy from a legitimate bookstore. The original book title, author, and publisher must all match exactly with the lost one. A higher - edition version is acceptable). For monetary compensation: the amount of compensation for a lost book (in yuan) = Original book price × 3. Before making compensation, please confirm whether you will replace the book or pay a fine. Once the fine is paid, it cannot be refunded.
7. Supplementary Regulations:
(1) For official trips or internships preventing timely returns, follow these steps: 1. Apply at library 2. Get department approval 3. Return within one week after returning to campus. Overdue returns will incur penalties.
(2) Inspect books upon receipt. Report damage or missing items immediately. Staff will stamp the damaged books to confirm responsibility.
(3) Don’t mark, scribble, or damage any pages of library books. Please protect all the embedded components (including security strips, barcodes, or CDs) in the books. Violators shall bear the corresponding consequences.
(4) Books must not be removed from the library without proper borrowing procedures. Unauthorized removal will be treated as an act of theft.
(5) Please keep your campus card secure at all times. In case of loss, report it immediately to prevent unauthorized use and potential financial losses
