Smart Lockers Guidelines

Article1.It is strictly prohibited to place any flammable, explosive, or corrosive hazardous materials in the smart lockers. Otherwise, upon discovery, the locker user's library access will be revoked for one year, and the relevant academic department will be notified.

 

Article2.Smart lockers are only for storing personal items like books. Please do not place unborrowed library books, food, or beverages in thelockers.

 

Article3.Smart lockers usage period is counted as one day from the momentitems are stored until the library closes on that day. Each start-to-end cycle counts as one use, and the maximum duration foreach use is 3 days.

 

Article4.Improper use of lockers refers to the start-to-end use cycle exceeding 3 days but no more than 7 days. If a user commits such aviolation three times, they will be added to the locker usage blacklist. After a violation occurs, the user must retrieve their personal items from the locker themselves.

 

Article5.Serious improper use of lockers refers to the start-to-end use cycle exceeding 7 days. Serious improper users will be added to the lockerusage blacklist. Items inside the locker will be cleared by staff onthe 8th day, and the usage right of the locker will be revoked.Before staff conduct the cleanup, the user may retrieve their itemsfrom the locker by themselves.

 

Article6.Those who have been added to the storage locker blacklist are refrained from using the lockers in the library for 30 days.

 

Article7.If there are still items left inside the lockers after the locker service has ended, or a locker remains vacant after being reserved,the library staff will clear the locker and revoke its usage rights.

 

Article8.The library staff will keep the items cleared out from the lockers for one month. Items can be claimed at the following locations:Service Desk on the 2nd floor of library (Campus 1), and Service Desk on the 3rd floor of library (Campus 2). If the items remain unclaimed after one month, they will be treated as abandoned property.

 

Article9.Users are required to keep the lockers clean and tidy. In case of any intentional damage, users shall compensate for the lossat the full cost.
