On December 14th, a seal script cultural experience workshop was successfully held in Room 510, (library in campus 2). This event aimed to guide students in appreciating the charm of traditional Chinese calligraphy and gaining a deeper insight into the outstanding traditional Chinese culture.

At the beginning of the event, Li Fengge, the keynote speaker, traced the development of Chinese calligraphy, covering oracle bone script, bronze inscriptions, seal script, clerical script, cursive script, running script, and regular script. The focus was      placed on introducing the cultural origins and core values of seal script. During the workshop, Li demonstrated the complete process of writing seal script characters.

Li personally inscribed each reader's name in seal script and offered them as the calligraphic gifts. The participants carefully practiced imitating the demonstrated characters, immersing themselves in the ancient charm of seal script. Toward the end of the event, Li performed a live demonstration, creating a fan-surface artwork entirely in seal script to showcase the complete process of traditional seal character composition. Subsequently, he presented these handwritten fans and bookmarks to the attendees, bringing the event to a graceful conclusion. This gathering transcended mere technical instruction in seal script—it served as a profound cultural experience carrying the legacy of millennia-old Chinese heritage.
