Renowned archaeologist Yan Xinzhi will lead you on a journey to unlock the splendid glory and daily life of Chang'an during the Sui and Tang dynasties(581-907 AD.) through cultural relics. This lecture takes excavated cultural relics as the core clue to systematically sort out the history and social features of Chang'an in the Sui and Tang dynasties.

Yan Xinzhi is a leading expert in China's Han - Tang archaeology. With an M.A. in History from Northwest University, he's worked at top museums like the Terracotta Army Museum, and Shaanxi History museum, etc. His research covers Han - Tang archaeology, art, and relics, and he’s shared his findings via lots of papers and catalogues.
