Senior’s Torch: HIT’s Annual Charity Book Recycling Campaign

         The Senior’s Torch, a charity book donation event co-hosted by HIT Green Association and the library, has run for 18 sessions, with 45,000+ participants and over 85,000 donated books. Focused on campus book reuse, it reduces waste and pollution by encouraging seniors to donate books, passing down resources while preserving warm memories for graduates and benefiting the undergraduates with quality books.

Graduation Season: June 1 – June 16

End-of-Semester Season: July 1 – July 13

Moving Season: July 16 – July 31

Donation Locations

All collection spots are set in the lobby on the first floor of respective dormitory buildings.
