Readers shall remove all personal belongings when leaving. Items left for seat occupying will be collected into bins on each floor.
To keep study spaces fair and tidy, the Library (campus 1) regularly clears leftover items after closing. Readers must take all personal belongings when leaving or store them in lockers. No personal items may be left in reading and public areas except in lockers. Collection bins for seized items are placed beside elevators on each floor. Detailed rules follow:
A.Rules for Placing Items in Collection Bins
1. All leftover and seat-occupying items from cleaning will be sorted into floor-specific collection bins.
2. Readers finding their reserved seat illegally occupied may place the violating items in the collection bin on the same floor, or call 0451-86402416 for staff assistance.
B.Rules for Custody and Disposal of Items
Items in the collection bins follow monthly overdue disposal: items collected in the current month will be kept until the 14th of the next month. All unclaimed items will be disposed of as ownerless on the 15th of the next month (e.g., April items are kept until May 14, and then disposed of on May 15). The library does not offer long-term storage, please claim your belongings promptly.
C. Rules for Claiming Personal Belongings
1. Readers may claim their belongings from the collection bins on the corresponding floors. Taking or rummaging through others’ personal items is strictly prohibited.
2. After claiming your belongings, please tidy up any remaining items in the bin to keep it neat and orderly.
3. Minor damage may occur during staff sorting and moving, and we appreciate your understanding about that. Please abide by library regulations, refrain from seat-occupying and leaving belongings unattended, and keep your personal possessions safe.
