Tea whisking was a refined daily pastime in the North Song Dynasty（960-1127 AD）. Grinding, sifting, careful heating of water, and brisk whisking yield snow-white tea froth. Emperor Huizong (reigned 1100–1125)captured this ritual in his painting The Literary Gathering. We will not merely admire the scroll — we bring the ancient tea feast to life.
